SHARON, Pa. (WKBN) -- One man is dead after being struck by a vehicle in Sharon Saturday night.
According to a news release from Sharon police, emergency crews were dispatched to the intersection of East State Street and Buhl Boulevard shortly after 9:30 p.m. for a vehicle versus pedestrian crash.
The pedestrian, a 73-year-old man from Hermitage, suffered serious injuries and was transferred to Sharon Regional, where he later died. His name has not yet been released.
Police said the driver of the vehicle remained on scene and is fully cooperating with the investigation.
