A group of women, who endure debilitating pain daily due to their health conditions, have spoken out about the isolation and loneliness they feel. Knowing first hand how alienating it can be to suffer with poor health, they formed groups to help and support others who suffer with chronic pain and fatigue.
The three women felt there was a lack of NHS services supporting people living with chronic pain and fatigue conditions, so they decided to take action. Now, chronic pain groups have been established in the Forest of Dean, with meetings taking place in Lydney, Coleford and two locations in Cinderford, providing a space for people to chat with others experiencing similar conditions.
