Leeds United are working on a number of deals this summer to strengthen their squad for a return to the Premier League. The Whites know there's much business to be done if they are to put together a team capable of staying in the top flight and avoiding an immediate return to the Championship.

Part of that reshaping of Daniel Farke 's squad is not just on new recruitment, but ensuring they keep hold of their star players and the players they want to build around. One of those is Wales international and Leeds' shining light in the Championship last season, Daniel James .

The 27-year-old winger was in superb form last season and returns to the Premier League hopeful of making a telling impact for the Whites. Out of contract next summer, Leeds know they need to get a deal done soon
