Strictly Come Dancing star Angela Scanlon has revealed why she wants to ‘hit pause’ in a parenting admission.

Irish TV presenter Angela was the ninth celebrity to be axed from the competition back in 2023, in a series which was won by Ellie Leach.

Paired with professional dancer Carlos Gu, Angela won the hearts of the BBC show's fans through her honesty about her anxiety and hilarious sense of humour.

Away from her work life, Angela is a mum to her two daughters, Ruby, seven, and Marnie, three, who she shares with husband Roy Horgan.

Speaking to The Mirror , the 41-year-old opened up about deciding to keep her family life away from her social media pages.
