CHELAN COUNTY, Wash. — After three young Wenatchee sisters were allegedly killed by their father, there is a growing push by advocates to reform Washington's Amber Alert system.

5-year-old Olivia Decker, 8-year-old Evelyn Decker, and 9-year-old Paityn Decker were with their father Travis Decker on May 30 as part of their court-ordered visitation plan. Per the order, Decker, an Army veteran who was homeless and struggled with PTSD, had to keep visits within the Wenatchee Valley area, and was not allowed to keep the girls overnight.

However, Decker failed to return his daughters to their mother on the night of May 30.

Police were notified, but no Amber Alert was issued.

The bodies of Olivia, Evelyn and Paityn were discovered on Monday, June 2, near a campground in the Leavenworth area.
