After going on sale Saturday morning, passes for this year’s Edmonton Folk Music Festival have been selling like green onion cakes.
According to a release from festival organizers Saturday evening, four-day passes for the event, and single Saturday night tickets had sold out.
A post to social media late Saturday night indicated that Sunday night passes were also no longer available.
Thursday and Friday single-night tickets were still available.
This year’s festival features legendary hip-hop band The Roots closing out Saturday, following sets by Danielle Ponder, a mainstage favourite from last year, plus Goldier Boutilier and blues great Taj Mahal.
Folk-rockers Mt. Joy are slated to close out Sunday night.
