The Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service (WFPS) has issued a warning to the public following the theft of medical supplies from a paramedic response bag at an emergency scene on William Avenue.
The incident happened during the morning of June 8 in the 600 block of William Avenue. While the stolen medications do not include narcotics, officials caution that they can still be dangerous or even fatal if taken without proper medical supervision.

According to the WFPS, the medications in the kit are primarily used for symptomatic relief and emergency resuscitation. Many are packaged in vials and intended for intravenous administration, making them unsafe for oral use or self-administration.
