WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. - Six people were arrested in connection with a human trafficking ring in West Memphis, the Arkansas State Police said.
The Arkansas Human Trafficking Council--in addition to the Attorney General's Office, the Second Judicial Drug Task Force, the West Memphis Police Department, the Marion Police Department, and the Crittenden County Sheriff's Office--conducted a coordinated victim recovery operation in West Memphis on May 29, which they called "Operation DELTA: Defending Every Life Trafficked in Arkansas," state police said.
During the operation, ASP said, law enforcement found nine victims, all of whom were provided with access to victim services and support resources; an additional 29 local victims were identified as part of the operation. State police said that, in
