Fire Sunday damaged a unit on the second floor of a two-story residential building in South Los Angeles, authorities said.

Firefighters dispatched at 12:31 p.m. Sunday to 525 W. 81st St. had the fire out within 14 minutes of their arrival, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
