The Boston Red Sox made a relatively under-the-radar offseason acquisition when they traded for New York Yankees farmhand Carlos Narváez.

Narváez has become one of the most productive rookies in all of baseball this season, entering this weekend’s series against his former team slashing .277/.355/.440 as the surprise cleanup hitter in Boston. The Red Sox are glad they threw him there, too, because he finally had his moment at Yankee Stadium on Sunday.
