CINCINNATI (WXIX) - The wife of slain Over-The-Rhine gym owner shares social media posts saying both the state of Ohio and the Cincinnati Police Department could have done more to protect her husband.
Mordecia Black, 38, of Spring Grove Village, is accused of breaking into Patrick Heringer’s residence on East McMicken Avenue early Wednesday and stabbing him multiple times, including in his neck, before fleeing, Hamilton County court records show.
Heringer was a U.S. Army veteran and founder of the Findlay Movement gym about a mile away from his home in Over-the-Rhine.
Patrick’s wife, Sarah Heringer, says that if safety were the city’s priority, her husband would still be alive.
