RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - A man is under arrest after the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team had to be called to Sun Valley on Sunday.

It happened at approximately 4:20 p.m, at a home on Brahms Drive.

Deputies say a woman called them and said that her ex-boyfriend—who is currently under a court order to stay away from her—was inside the home harassing her. Children were also home at the time.

Deputies responded immediately and safely removed the woman and her children from the home.

Deputies say that due to what they learned when they investigated, and out of an abundance of caution, SWAT was called to the scene. After a thorough search of the property, the suspect—identified as Enrique Cardenas—was located and taken into custody without further incident.
