The cast of the new musical Dead Outlaw performed at the Tonys tonight!

Nominees Andrew Durand , Julia Knitel , and Jeb Brown hit the stage for a performance of “Ballad” / “Dead” at the 2025 Tony Awards on Sunday (June 8) at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

The musical is based on a “that can’t actually be true” story about the outlaw-turned-corpse-turned-celebrity Elmer McCurdy.

Dead Outlaw was nominated for seven awards, including Best Musical, Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Musical for Andrew , Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Musical for Julia , and Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Musical for Jeb .
