A car has flipped onto its roof and is causing problems for drivers on the A38 this morning, Monday, June 9. Cole Avenue, in Quedgeley is partially blocked northbound, following the crash.

Footage taken at the scene shows a car completely flipped onto its roof on the outside lane of the A38. Part of the car has landed on the central reservation, with the bonnet appearing to be hanging over the carriageway.

Roads and traffic monitoring site , Inrix, reported the crash at 9.28am. It said: "A38 Cole Avenue northbound partially blocked, queueing traffic due to accident at B4008 Bristol Road."

It is not clear if anyone has suffered any injuries in this crash. Emergency services have been contacted for further information.
