Give benefit of doubt

To say that a lot of people are upset with Donald Trump could be the understatement of the century. If you don't think so, please refer to letters on June 4. You would think that Trump was one small step from becoming king or dictator. I really don't think so.

What is evident is there are a whole lot of changes going on, and from my perspective, that's a good thing. The federal government has become an uncontrollable behemoth that the Democrats and the Republicans seem unable to contain, control or reform. Democrats want the government to continue to grow and control virtually everything, and the Republicans have seemingly forgotten about smaller government, lower taxes and reducing the cancerous growth of the federal bureaucracy and debt.
