Four Leeds United players were involved in the goal that saw Manor Solomon clinch the Championship title down in Plymouth, and one of them was Max Wober.

He had come on for the final 21 minutes in what was only his second appearance in four months. Both of these outings came via virtue of injury.

Against Luton Town, Pascal Struijk was forced off with a season-ending setback while issues with Junior Firpo and Isaac Schmidt, who did make the bench, saw Wober replace Sam Byram at Home Park.

Wober himself suffered significant injury setbacks this term, having to undergo a second round of knee surgery in February after the first didn’t produce the desired outcome. He had made the matchday squad five times but Daniel Farke was always hesitant to use him, which was no good.
