PEMISCOT COUNTY, Mo. (KFVS) - A chase involving a Pemiscot County Sheriff’s Office deputy leads to an arrest on Sunday, June 8.

According to the sheriff’s office, a deputy noticed a pickup truck stopped in the middle of State Highway 164 in the Cottonwood Point area and when the deputy’s patrol vehicle approached the truck, the driver reportedly took off at a high rate of speed.

The deputy tried to stop the suspect vehicle when it turned onto County Road 553, but the deputy said the driver continued to travel at a high rate of speed until they stopped the truck behind a home.

The suspect, identified as Jonathan Turnbow, then reportedly got out of the truck and went up to the deputy.
