LANCASTER, Pa. (WHP/WKRC) - A Pennsylvania man was arrested Tuesday on multiple felony charges related to animal abuse after allegedly amputating his dog's leg with scissors.

The Pennsylvania SPCA, in coordination with Lancaster County Detectives and the Pennsylvania State Police, executed an arrest warrant for Stephen Stoltzfus , 45, from Kirkwood. He is accused of refusing to seek veterinary care for his 4-year-old labradoodle, Kimber, after she sustained injuries from farm equipment. Instead, he allegedly amputated the remainder of her damaged leg himself. Kimber is now recovering at the Main Line Animal Rescue in Chester County.
