ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - A reward is now being offered in connection with a mass shooting during a party back in March, according to the Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office.

The U.S. Marshal’s Service has joined with the sheriff’s office to offer up to a $5,000 reward in the search for Sincere Gibbs, who is wanted on seven counts of attempted murder , according to a press release.

“This brings the weight of the county, the U.S. Marshals Service Carolinas Regional Fugitive Task Force, SLED, the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office and the Sumter Police Department to bear on this case,” Sheriff Leroy Ravennell said.

Ravenell said the 18-year-old Gibbs, of Sumter, is wanted after a March 29 shooting at a party being held at 1175 Five Chop Road in Orangeburg.
