Police investigating death at aluminum supplier in Niles

NILES, Ohio (WKBN) - Niles Police and the Trumbull County Coroner’s Office are looking into a death at BRT Extrusions in Niles. Capt. John Marshall says police first learned about the death on Monday. Marshall says a detective and a coroner’s office investigator will be heading to the facility on North Main Street in Niles as part of the investigation into the death, which is likely connected to an industrial accident. An ambulance was sent to the facility around 5:44 p.m. Friday for an “unconscious male at his press.” First News has reached out to the company for comment, but at the time of this posting, has yet to hear back.
