PORTLAND, Ore. (KPTV) - Two people were arrested for spray painting the ICE building in southwest Portland during a demonstration Sunday night, according to the Portland Police Bureau.
PPB says officers responded to protest activity and safety concerns near the ICE building multiple times over the weekend.
On Saturday evening, officers helped remove wood, rocks and street-closure signs that had been placed in the driveway of the building to intentionally block access to it. PPB say no arrests were made and no force was used.
On Sunday, at about 11:40 a.m., officers were called back due to a report of unwanted people on private property next to the ICE building. The property owner had reportedly asked the crowd to leave.
