HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) - A man from New Britain was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison for child-pornography-related offenses.

Joshua Glaeser, 37, learned his fate on Monday, according to U.S. attorney for the District of Connecticut David. X. Sullivan.

Sullivan said the official sentence was 120 months in prison followed by 15 years of supervised release.

According to court documents and statements made in court, in the summer of 2022, a Connecticut State Police detective investigating child exploitation offenses identified an IP address at Glaeser’s New Britain home that was being used in the distribution of child sex abuse material.
