FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WFRV) - Two suspects in a 2023 North Fond du Lac shooting now know their fate as they have officially been sentenced, says Fond Du Lac District Attorney Eric Toney.

17-year-old Noah Metcalf has been sentenced to 6 years in prison with 6 years of extended supervision, and 21-year-old Jaysen Fix was previously sentenced to nine years in prison with an additional nine years of extended supervision for their roles in a shooting on September 4, 2023.

According to a criminal complaint from the Fond du Lac District Attorney's Office, officers with the North Fond du Lac Police Department responded at 1:58 a.m. to a home on Michigan Avenue after two victims reported hearing a "pop, pop, pop" before bullets flew through the wall near where they were sitting.
