SYRACUSE, N.Y. — ScoutPower announced Monday that it raised more than $600,000 for the Longhouse Council.

The 57th ScoutPower was held at the JMA Wireless Dome in early May. It's one of the biggest scouting events in the country. Syracuse University Chancellor and Eagle Scout Kent Syverud were recognized as the Distinguished Citizen of the Year.

“ScoutPower 2025 was more than a fundraising event: It was a homecoming,” said Scout Executive & CEO of the Longhouse Council Edwin Theetge. “Bringing the celebration back to the Dome after more than 20 years, and doing so in honor of Chancellor Syverud, made this year’s event truly special.”

Sportscaster Mike Tirico, a Newhouse graduate, was the event's keynote speaker.
