The Eastern Ontario Training Board (EOTB) held its annual general meeting on Thursday, June 5, where it highlighted some of its successes in connecting prospective employees with employers, and assisting job seekers to access the labour market.

“From the numbers that were delivered today, you can tell we’ve served a lot of participants to secure employment, overcome those barriers, and seek the assistance that they needed. It was a successful year all around,” said executive director Martha Woods, adding the Ontario Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development said it was pleased with the organization’s work.
