Following the release of Addison , Rae has been everywhere – and fans are claiming the album is already the “Album of the Year.” Before its release, however, many questioned if the album’s title hinted towards a name change for the rising star.

“Is that something that you — You talked about that, right?” Blackwell asked. “Well.. I didn’t really talk about it,” Addison shared. “But I’ve said it in an interview like, ‘Oh, I think I’ve just grown past being called Addison Rae,’ and then the album being named Addison was kind of like a tie-in for that.”
