Nvidia Corp., the leading chip-making giant, is further solidifying its presence in Seattle by leasing an additional 28,000 square feet of office space at the Fremont Lake Union Center located at 701 N. 34th Street, according to a report from the Puget Sound Business Journal. This new lease marks Nvidia’s second office in the Fremont neighborhood. The expansion comes after Nvidia’s acquisition of OctoAI, a 100-employee AI startup, in September. While OctoAI already occupies space on the second floor of the Fremont Lake Union Center, the report indicated that the new fourth-floor lease is an expansion for Nvidia directly, rather than for OctoAI.
