MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) --- More than 20 people were taken into custody at an ICE protest at Trump Tower in Manhattan Monday, according to police and sources.
The protesters were arrested while rallying against recent ICE raids inside the building on Fifth Avenue at around 1 p.m., according to the NYPD. The charges were pending, police said.
At a protest in New York City over the weekend, 22 people were arrested or given summonses.
Sunday was the third day of demonstrations against Trump’s immigration crackdown in the Los Angeles area, as the arrival of around 300 federal troops spurred anger and fear among some residents. Trump deployed the National Guard to the California city.
