A teenager has been arrested in connection with multiple vehicle break-ins in Branford and what police allege was an intentional hit-and-run crash involving a victim who was followed to their home.
The vehicle burglaries were reported last Friday around 10:30 a.m. when someone called police and reported seeing an individual breaking into vehicles in the area of Highland Avenue and Riverview Avenue, according to the Branford Police Department .
Police said the individual was wearing a pink hooded sweatshirt and a black ski mask and was seen driving a gray Hyundai SUV with dark tinted windows. According to police, he was also seen exiting the Hyundai and running to an Audi SUV where he took something out of the trunk before fleeing in the Hyundai.
