KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A Missouri Lottery player's decision to play the same set of handpicked numbers twice paid off.

The player won a $60,000 jackpot prize in the May 29 "Show Me Cash" drawing. The ticket was purchased at Discount Smokes & Liquor off E. 87th Street and Raytown Road in Raytown, Missouri.

The winning number combination was 3, 10, 16, 27 and 39.

The winner told the Missouri Lottery he played the same numbers the week before and decided to play them again.

The Missouri Lottery said the day after the drawing, he checked the winning number and was shocked to see he won.

"Show Me Cash" cost $1 per play and is drawn daily at 8:59 p.m. with jackpots that start at $50,000 and grow until won. Monday night's jackpot is estimated at $121,000.
