BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A man formerly contracted to work with the City of Baton Rouge has been sentenced to serve seven years in federal prison after he was convicted on child porn charges.

Blake Joseph Stenier, 37, was convicted of distribution of child pornography.

The court also sentenced Steiner to serve five years of supervised release after his prison sentence. He was also ordered to complete sex offender treatment and register as a sex offender once he is released.

According to admissions made during his plea, Steiner started a conversation on a mobile application group chat with an undercover agent. Steiner hoped to get access to a group that was dedicated to sharing and trading child pornography.
