A man previously convicted on child exploitation charges was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison after authorities reportedly found more than 3,000 files of child sexual abuse materials at his home.
Joshua Glaeser, 37, of New Britain faced sentencing in federal court in Hartford on Monday, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Connecticut . His 10-year prison term will be followed by 15 years of supervised release, a judge ordered.
According to federal officials, Glaeser was convicted in state court in 2012 of possession of child pornography and was sentenced to 10 years in prison, suspended after service of two years, followed by 10 years of probation.
