Dresden Jr. Kings forward Mackenzie Anderson is building a solid resume for his career in construction.
The Ridgetown native and Fanshawe College student has received a $6,000 bursary from the Dairy Farmers of Ontario for his post-secondary education.
Eight bursaries are given each year to Ontario Hockey Association members based on their leadership, academics, community work and passion for hockey.
“I wouldn’t be here without my community that helped me get here,” Anderson, a Ridgetown Rebels and South Kent Lightning alumnus, said in an OHA video. “Making the jump from A rep hockey to junior C, it’s a big jump, but they helped me along the way.”
