The Fanshawe College student from Ridgetown received a $6,000 bursary from the Dairy Farmers of Ontario for his post-secondary education. Article content Article content

Eight bursaries are given each year to Ontario Hockey Association members based on their leadership, academics, community work and passion for hockey.

“I wouldn’t be here without my community that helped me get here,” Anderson, a former Ridgetown Rebels and South Kent Lightning player, said in an OHA video. “Making the jump from A rep hockey to junior C, it’s a big jump, but they helped me along the way.”

Anderson, 18, has played two seasons with the Jr. Kings in the Provincial Junior Hockey Leagu
