The 13U North Bay Panthers hit the diamond this past weekend in Orillia, showcasing their grit against strong competition and securing a resounding victory in the process.

The tournament kicked off Friday with a challenging matchup against the Aurora King Jays, one of the top teams in the tournament. The King Jays’ powerful offense proved too much, handing the Panthers an 11-2 loss. Peyton St-Onge contributed two hits and a run, while Cole Roussy scored North Bay’s second run. Pitchers Tanner Lisk, Owen Marson, and Ryerson Davis combined for five strikeouts through five innings of play.

In their second game, the Panthers absolutely feasted on the Muskoka Hornets 13U team. The Hornets, eager for their first tournament win, were stifled by an outstanding performance from Dannick Renaud. Re
