President Donald Trump made a series of false claims to members of the military on Tuesday in a partisan and combative speech at Fort Bragg in North Carolina.
Trump lied again about the 2020 election. He repeated a long-debunked story about a Minnesota National Guard deployment in 2020. He again distorted the history of his first administration’s fight against the ISIS terror group. He revived a fictional tale about immigration during former President Joe Biden’s administration.
