SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. – The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office confirmed they have secured $620,000 in funding.
This funding is part of the 2025-2027 Mental Health Field Response Initiative , which is led by the Washington Association of Sheriffs and Police Chiefs .
The initiative aims to enhance mental health support across the community. The organization emphasized the importance of focusing on clinicians rather than deputy positions in their revised budget.
This approach is intended to bolster mental health services and provide better support for those in need throughout Spokane County.
