It has been since 2001 that a team from East Central Indiana reached the IHSAA football state finals and 1980 since a team won. Will 2025 change either of those statistics? Time will tell.

This season begins with games Aug. 22. Postseason action starts with sectionals Oct. 24, with the six-week playoff journey ending Thanksgiving weekend at Lucas Oil Stadium with the six state championship games Nov. 28-29.
