RAWLINS -- The high school sports season is underway with golf and tennis getting a head start.
The Rawlins High School golf team got the season started on Aug. 13 at the Douglas Invitational, marking the beginning of a full season.
Rawlins will host its own golf tournament on Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 18-19. Rock Springs and Green River will be two of the teams making the trip to compete.
The Outlaws had a full boys team at the 3A state competition last year, but no girls. Cam Bentson, David Cullen, Lucas Wells, Cameron Hogan and Trinity Taffner all placed at state, none of which have graduated yet.
