ATHOL, Idaho — All Level 3 (Go Now!) evacuations have been lifted for the wildfire burning near Athol, Idaho.

The Sunset Fire has burned an estimated 3,230 acres as of the morning of August 28. Idaho Department of Lands (IDL) says the fire destroyed three structures. The fire is 66% contained.

IDL says that water scoopers will continue getting water from Lake Pend Oreille and reminds everyone with boats to stay out of the flight path.

IDL says they are getting help from the Bonner County Sheriff's Office and rural and county fire departments.

IDL air resources will include 2 scoopers, 4 Type 1 Helicopters, 4 air tankers and an Air Attack Plane that circles within the fire perimeter and directs air traffic.
