Philadelphia police are investigating a Thursday night shooting that injured a 22-year-old man in Center City’s Gayborhood.

The incident occurred around 9:59 p.m. Aug. 14 at Broad and Locust streets, according to police. Officers from the 9th District responded to a report of a man shot and found the victim on the 1300 block of Locust Street with a gunshot wound to his right arm. Police took the victim to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, where he was placed in stable condition.

Chief Inspector Scott Small said the victim told police he was standing on the corner when he was shot. The shooting was caught on police real-time crime cameras, and investigators have also located private surveillance footage from the area.
