TIMES SQUARE, Manhattan (PIX11) – New York City is celebrating its 400th anniversary with a free Broadway concert in Times Square on Sept. 7.
The concert will kick off Broadway Week and its signature two-for-one tickets to shows.
These musicals will be featured in the concert, which will be held in Duffy Square at 11 a.m: • “Aladdin” • “The Book of Mormon” • “The Buena Vista Social Club” • “Moulin Rouge” • “MJ The Musical” • “The Lion King” • “Harry Potter”
The city began celebrating its 400th anniversary at the end of 2024, with free movies in parks and the biggest rollout of Open Streets.
