UP Residents Asked to Reduce Water Use

University Park residents have been asked to conserve water while crews make emergency repairs at the city’s booster pump station in Germany Park.

In an email message, the Dallas County Park Cities Municipal Utility District asked residents to help reduce water use by:

Pausing outdoor watering

Running dishwashers only with full loads

Washing only full loads of laundry

Avoiding running water while washing dishes

The message stated that the repair timeline was unknown, and that updates would be provided when more information became available. It reassured residents that the water remains safe to drink.
