POPLAR GROVE, Ark. — An Arkansas prosecutor has now deemed that no criminal charges will be filed in connection to a shooting death in Phillips County from July 2025.
According to reports, a shooting happened in the 300 block of Phillips County Road 113 at around 2:15 a.m. on Saturday, July 5, 2025.
Officials say that 38-year-old William "Red" Henderson died after being sent to the Helena Regional Medical Center. A different 47-year-old man was also transported to a hospital in a private vehicle later.
The Phillips County Sheriff's Office then requested the assistance of the Arkansas State Police (ASP) Criminal Investigation Division (CID) in launching an investigation into the incident.
Officials said that 41-year-old Decorick Farr of Poplar Grove was arrested by CID agents.
