Our first game of the week for the 2025 season will be Shades Valley against Woodlawn.

Both of these teams are looking to right the ship in 2025. Woodlawn has not been to the playoffs since 2011, while Shades Valley has not been there in five years.

The Mounties also enter a new era as veteran head coach George Bates takes over the program after seven years at Center Point. Bates went 52-30 there with seven straight playoff appearances.

These two teams met last year to start the season, with Shades Valley getting the win at home, 41-20. Woodlawn has not beaten Shades Valley since 2002.
