The 2025 Leagues Cup is down to eight.

Following a break from action to focus on league play, the tournament returns with the quarterfinals next in sight.

Major League Soccer and Liga MX each have four teams left vying for the trophy. Liga MX teams Cruz Azul and Leon won the first two editions of the tournament, but MLS clubs Inter Miami and Columbus Crew claimed the last two in the newly expanded version.

Miami won the tournament in Lionel Messi's debut months in America, and they are looking to win it again with new additions like Rodrigo De Paul. The other three MLS teams are the LA Galaxy, Seattle Sounders and Orlando City.
