A Washington D.C. man says he ordered Uber Eats over the weekend, but his delivery driver was detained by federal agents before he could make that delivery.

Cellphone video captures witnesses trying to help an Uber Eats delivery driver as he was handcuffed by what appeared to be federal agents in the city's Shaw neighborhood Saturday.

“He doesn’t understand what you’re saying, bro,” Tyler DeSue is heard saying on the video. “Just use Google Translate on your phone; it takes two seconds.”

DeSue ordered the food and recorded the video of the encounter.

“The officers wouldn't respond to us, even though we were asking them questions about where he was going, what he did,” he said.
