RAWLINS -- The high school golf season is in full swing and the Rawlins Outlaws have already completed two tournaments.

David Cullen, Lucas Wells, Cameron Bentsen, Cameron Hogan and Jesse Shirley have represented the Outlaws so far in the Douglas Golf Invite and in their own Rawlins Invite.

The Douglas Invite was less than ideal for the boys. They finished 11th out of 11 participating teams, 200 strokes behind the first-place Wheatland and 100 strokes behind the 10th-place Thermopolis. Cullen led the pack and finished at 196, posting a solid 91 on the second day. Wells came in after him at 200, Bensten at 212 and Shirley at 215. After 133 strokes on the first day, Hogan did not participate in the second day of competition. The Outlaws' final total was 823.
