WARRICK COUNTY, Ind. (WEHT) -- A town hall meeting with Indiana Lt. Governor Micah Beckwith erupted into chaos Wednesday night.

Once the meeting began, the large crowd at the Ohio Township Trustee Office got louder and louder, with people shouting and shoving.

Footage taken by Eyewitness News shows one person in the crowd being taken down by law enforcement.

According to Vanderburgh County Sheriff Noah Robinson, EPD and the sheriff's office were requested to help with a "large fight." Robinson said they did not have any units available.

The Evansville Police Department said they did send officers, but they took no enforcement action. EPD said further comment will come from Indiana State Police.
