The deal is for seven years, and carries an average annual value of a little less than $6.6 million. Furthermore, he was still under contract for the 2025-26 Season. His entry-level contract and its $950K cap hit was set to run out after this upcoming campaign. This is a big deal for the Hawks, and by the end of the contract, could represent great value from a team perspective.
